Shirley Gal

Shirley Gal is partner and co-head of the Intellectual Property department at Eitan Mehulal Sadot. With two decades of experience in intellectual property law, Shirley is an expert in the areas of intellectual property rights protection and enforcement. She is also an expert in patent and design protection in Israel and overseas, and their enforcement in Israel’s courts of law.

Shirley represents Israeli companies throughout their international activities and international brands in their activities in Israel. She advises clients from a wide variety of industries, including fashion, medical device, consumer goods & services, aviation, energy, food & beverage, optics, insurance & financial services, software and telecommunications – and manages their trademark portfolio worldwide.

Shirley advises enterprises on trademark strategy planning and implementation. By advising clients on proper trademark selection and use, and registration, enforcement and dispute resolution, Shirley helps increase their brand value worldwide. She also performs IP due diligence prior to acquisition or investment transactions, and writes legal opinions in matters concerning intellectual property.

Shirley is also an expert in cyber law and data protection, and provides consultation regarding the right to correct or expunge data (the right to be forgotten), the use of cookies, beacons and other tracking technologies, online marketing, monetization, behavioral advertising, comparative advertising and more.
